Fiona Lander- Doctor & Lawyer
Fiona Lander is a medical doctor and lawyer, presently working as a human rights consultant for the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. Fiona recently completed a Masters of Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health as a Frank Knox Memorial Fellow, and teaches in health and human rights worldwide, including at the Copenhagen School of Global Health. She is also a Commissioner for the Lancet Youth Commission on Essential Medicines Policies.
Fiona previously worked for two years in Mumbai, India with the former United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Health, Anand Grover. She has also worked as a commercial lawyer at Corrs Chambers Westgarth, and as a doctor at Austin Health, in Melbourne. Fiona has recently relocated to Perth, and will commence work at Royal Perth Hospital in 2015.
