Being a global shaper gives you access to an incredible global network of peers, travel and the ability to connect with others in Perth to make a difference.

The Perth Global Shapers Hub maintains the highest standards of members through a defined qualification and selection process.
Becoming a Global Shaper entails a genuine commitment of your time and energy.
Shapers communicate by email and are expected to attend a minimum of 60% of monthly meetings and hold one or more project roles. Successful applicants will undertake a three-month probation period.
How to Apply:
STEP 1: EMAIL YOUR CV WITH A TWO MINUTE VIDEO OR COVER LETTER
Submit a CV outlining your professional, entrepreneurial and leadership track record. With this please submit a simple 2 minute video or 1 page cover letter introducing yourself and outlining your commitment to social impact and improving the WA community. The video only needs to be a very basic video shot on a smartphone and uploaded to a file sharing service or privately on YouTube. Be sure to include your contact details (best email, phone number) and educational background. Email this through to email@example.com with the subject line ‘Perth Shapers Application’.
We will review applications in the seven day period following the closure of any application period.
STEP 2: PANEL INTERVIEW
The interview stage involves a conversation with a panel of up to five Shapers and/or WA community leaders. This will be arranged at a mutually agreeable time and place and will likely involve a series of discussions not limited to:
– Your motivations for joining the hub.
– Skills and value you can bring to the hub.
– Experience in the social sector.
– Understanding of what being a Global Shaper and Perth hub member entails.
Candidates who are successful in the panel interview stage are welcomed on board the Perth Hub to begin their three-month probation period.
Upon completion of the probation period, your profile is submitted to the World Economic Forum for validation as a Global Shaper.
